What Shelly makes

Shelly makes compact Wi-Fi and Bluetooth relays, meters, dimmers and sensors. They make the switches, lights and appliances you already have smart, without replacing them. We buy them through Nology, the official Shelly distributor in South Africa.

It runs in its own free app

Shelly devices are set up and controlled in the free Shelly Smart Control app, not the SmartKwam app, and they do not appear in the SmartKwam app. Every product page shows which app a device uses.

Know which need an electrician

A device wired into your mains or your DB board must be fitted by a registered electrician. Battery and USB devices are yours to set up: the BLU sensors and buttons, the H&T, The Pill and the gateway. Each product page says which it is.
