Shipping & delivery
We ship across South Africa with tracked door-to-door courier delivery via The Courier Guy. Most paid orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days; delivery is typically 2–4 business days from collection depending on your province.
Delivery is charged as a separate line at checkout, calculated live from your delivery address — you see the exact courier rate before you pay. From time to time we run promotions with free or discounted delivery; those are applied automatically at checkout when active.
Once your order ships, we email you the tracking number so you can follow it to your door.
Collect in person
Prefer to pick up? Choose “Collect in store” at checkout instead of delivery — collection is free.
You will get an email when your order is ready to collect (usually within 1–2 business days of payment). Bring your order number and a photo ID.
Current collection points: Advannotech offices in Centurion and the ZKTeco Warehouse in Johannesburg. We will add more as we grow.
Orders & tracking
After payment, you receive an order confirmation email with your order number and a summary of what you bought.
You can track an order any time from the link in your confirmation email, or from your account if you registered. Tracking details appear once the parcel ships.
Payment status is confirmed by Payfast — if your confirmation page is taking a moment, give it a few seconds and refresh; we wait for the bank, not the page.
Payments & security
We accept South African card payments through Payfast. Your card details are entered directly into Payfast’s secure form inside a lightbox — they never touch our servers.
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT. The VAT portion is itemised separately at checkout so you can see exactly what you are paying.
Promo codes can be applied in the order summary at checkout. Invalid or expired codes are flagged immediately.
Reviews & ratings
Only customers who have actually bought a product can review it — every review on the shop is from a verified buyer.
Reviews land in moderation first and go public once approved, so you can trust what you read. You can mark reviews as helpful to surface the best ones for other shoppers.
You can write a review from the product page after your order is paid — just look for the “Write a review” button under the reviews section.
Out-of-stock products
If a product you want is out of stock, leave your email on the product page and we will email you the moment it is back. One email per restock, no marketing — just the alert.
You can sign up signed-in or as a guest. We never share your email.
Your account
Creating an account is optional but useful: orders are saved, addresses can be reused at checkout, and a wishlist lets you save products for later.
You can sign in with a password or a magic link (we email a one-time sign-in link, no password needed).
Update your name and email preferences any time under Account details. Email is the source of truth for your account — to change it, contact support.
Returns, cancellations & refunds
Changed your mind before your order ships? Sign in, open the order under My orders, and tap “Request cancellation” — unshipped orders can be cancelled for a full refund.
Already received it? You can return eligible items within 14 days from the same order page (“Request a return”). If something arrived damaged, faulty or wrong, we cover the return shipping; for change-of-mind returns you cover return shipping and the item should be unused in its original packaging.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, and you get an email confirmation once the refund is recorded on your order.
