What it does
This 80 A split-core current transformer gives a Shelly EM Gen3 or EM Gen4 the range to measure heavier circuits, such as a main feed or a bank of aircon units. It clips around a live conductor without disconnecting it and plugs into the meter on a 60 cm cable.
Shelly lists it as compatible with the Shelly EM Gen3 and Shelly EM Gen4 only. It suits conductors up to 4 mm. Because Shelly names no other meters for it, owners of a Pro EM-50 should choose the Shelly 50A Clamp for EM Gen3 and Pro EM-50 instead.
