Six zones of irrigation, run from your phone.
What it does
The FrankEver Sprinkler Controller FK-06X runs up to six irrigation zones, each driving a standard 24 V AC solenoid valve. It has a Shelly chip inside, so it joins your Wi-Fi without a hub and appears in the Shelly Smart Control app, where each zone gets its own name and run time. Buttons and status lights on the unit let you start or stop a zone on the spot.
Build up to 20 schedules and run zones in sequence, one area of the garden at a time. The controller can look at the past 24 hours of temperature and rainfall to shorten or skip a cycle after rain, or to water for longer in a heat wave, which helps you use less water without thinking about it.
If the internet drops, the built-in web interface still lets you set the controller up and run it from a computer on your local network. MQTT, UDP and webhooks are there for anyone linking it to a wider home automation system, and Shelly lists Home Assistant support for it.
What you need
Needs 24 V AC irrigation solenoid valves, a 24 V AC power supply rated at 2000 mA and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
Install
You can fit it yourself: it mounts on a wall and the valve wiring is low voltage. Follow Shelly's official guide for the connections, and use an irrigation installer if you are unsure about the valve wiring.
