What it does
Shelly EM Gen4 measures two circuits on a single-phase supply using clip-on current clamps. One 50 A clamp comes in the box. Add a second to watch your mains and your solar or inverter output side by side, or to track a geyser or pool pump on its own channel.
It keeps at least 30 days of one-minute data in 16 MB of memory, so you can look back even after an internet outage. It connects over Wi-Fi 6 to the Shelly Smart Control app, or joins a Zigbee or Matter system, and repeats Zigbee for other devices. A dry-contact relay rated 2 A at 240 V lets your electrician drive a contactor from the meter's readings, for example to shed load when demand climbs.
What you need
Comes with one 50 A clamp. To measure a second circuit, add a Shelly 50 A or 80 A clamp listed for the EM Gen4.
