Keeps low-wattage lights steady on older modules.

What it does

Shelly modules that run without a neutral wire take their own power through the light they control. With a small LED load there is not enough current for that to work cleanly, and the light can flicker. The Shelly Bypass is fitted at the light fitting, in parallel with the load, and gives the module the extra path it needs to run steadily.

It is made for the Shelly 1L and Shelly Dimmer 2, and it is needed when the load is under 20 W at 240 V. It is not the right part for newer modules. The Shelly 2L Gen3 ships with its own bypass, and the Shelly Dimmer Gen3 and Gen4 need the Shelly Bypass for Dimmer Gen3 instead.

What you need

For a Shelly 1L or Shelly Dimmer 2 installed without a neutral wire. It does not suit the Shelly 2L Gen3 or the Shelly Dimmer Gen3 or Gen4.
