A smoke alarm that also tells your phone.
What it does
Shelly Plus Smoke Alarm is a photoelectric smoke alarm, the type that responds well to slow, smouldering fires. When it detects smoke it sounds its own alarm in the room, and because it connects straight to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, it also sends a notification through the Shelly Smart Control app. No hub is needed, and it is certified to DIN EN 14604.
That phone alert is what makes it useful in a rental flat, a holiday home or a granny cottage you are not always near. It is a local alarm with phone notifications only. It is not monitored and does not call anyone, so make sure someone can act on the alert. A test button, a hush button and a low-battery warning are built in.
What you need
Needs a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and an internet connection to send phone notifications. The alarm still sounds locally without them.
