What it does
Shelly H&T Gen3 shows the room's temperature and humidity on a large e-paper display, along with the time and status icons. It runs for about a year on four AA batteries, or you can plug in a USB-C supply to keep it powered permanently. It stands on a shelf or hangs on a wall.
Because it connects straight to your Wi-Fi, its readings can switch a heater, fan or dehumidifier through a Shelly relay. That makes it handy in a nursery or bedroom, and for keeping damp and mould in check in a coastal home or a cold Cape winter. It also works with Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings.
What you need
Needs four AA batteries, which are not included, and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. For mains power, use your own USB-C adapter and cable.
Install
Stand it on a shelf or hang it on a wall with a screw or double-sided foam pad. No wiring is needed.
